Wipe all stains with a damp sponge. If stain remains, saturate a cotton ball with alcohol and blot the stain and rinse.
Dampen a sponge with alcohol and use a blotting motion to absorb the marker stain, changing the sponge as often as needed. Apply upholstery/rug shampoo according to the directions on the container.
Use water, Windex window cleaner, or liquid dish soap to wash the surface. After washing, the surface should be wiped with a dry towel to remove chalk-like residue.
If you notice the stain before laundering, rinse stain with hot water. Wash in hot water with laundry detergent for about 12 minutes (heavy soil cycle). Soak in stain remover solution, according to the instructions on the container, for one hour and repeat laundry cycle. Repeated laundering should remove any residual stains.
Wipe off excess stain with a dry paper towel or soft cloth. Apply a solution of dish soap mixed with warm water and wipe with a cloth in a circular motion. Allow the area to dry. Repeat as necessary.

Scrape excess crayon off with a dull-edge knife or metal spoon. Pour a small amount of liquid dish soap directly onto the surface to be cleaned. With a small, stiff bristle brush, work crayon stain and wipe stain away with a sponge saturated with warm water. Spray with WD-40 and let stand a few minutes work crayon stain with the brush and wipe with paper towels. Reapply liquid dish detergent on the stained area, work in with the brush and wipe stain away with a damp sponge. If stain remains. repeat the procedure.For another method, use any brand upholstery cleaner as directed on the container.
Spray the area with glass cleaner and wipe off with a paper towel. Repeat as needed.
Spray a small amount of WD-40 on a soft cloth and also on the stained surface. Hold the cloth on the stain for about 15 seconds. Using the cloth gently wipe and lift simultaneously (do not rub the stain; this will create smearing and ultimately increase the size of the stain). If residue remains, wipe the surface with a damp sponge.If the stain still exists. saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and blot the remaining stain for 15 seconds. Promptly remove the alcohol with a damp sponge moistened with liquid dish soap.
