If the stain remains, dampen a sponge with alcohol and use a blotting motion to absorb the stain, changing the sponge as often as needed. Apply upholstery/rug shampoo according to the directions on the container.
If stain is noticed before laundering, rinse with hot water. Wash in hot water with laundry detergent for about 12 minutes (heavy soil cycle). Soak in a solution of stain remover according to the instruction on the container for one hour. Repeat laundry cycle. Repeat laundering should remove any residual stains.

Add liquid dish soap to water. If stain remains, apply cleanser with a soft cloth or sponge. Work the stain for several minutes. Rinse with water. Repeat as needed.
Use a garden hose to wet the stained area and apply a small amount of liquid dish soap. Work the area with a scrub brush. Rinse with water. Repeat procedure as needed.
