Love You 'Sew' Much Cards

Love You 'Sew' Much Cards lesson plan

Stitch warm sentiments with colorful yarn to create homespun cards and matching envelopes—for Valentine’s Day or any time you want to express your love!

  • 1.

Fold brightly colored craft paper into cards. Following the directions on the package, use Crayola Scissors to cut hearts from the center of each card.

  • 2.

Decorate cards with Crayola Twistables® Crayons. Write a loving message on the cover and inside—for Valentine’s Day or any occasion.

  • 3.

Use a hole punch to make "sewing" holes around the edges of each card and envelope. You can even make holes in the center of your card or trim the edges for special effects!

  • 4.

Wrap tape around one end of yarn or ribbon. Thread it up and down through the holes. Secure yarn ends with tape inside the card. If you like, add paper doilies or other craft decorations for even more pizzazz.

  • 5.

Add sparkle with Crayola Glitter Glue. Air-dry the glitter glue before sending your note.
